Hotels in Mauritius are cutting the prices

Mauritian luxury hotel group Sun Resorts Limited said intense competition in the the island’s key tourism industry was forcing operators to cut prices, and the outlook was tough.

During this weekend we went to Tamassa hotel in the South of the Island together with our relatives who came from Russia. I liked the place a lot and they offered a good price for the Resident permit holders. Much better than the La Plantation where we spent a couple of days this July. Good thing that most of the local hotels including the luxury ones will offer the Residents a special prices during the low season. Some of them will keep the special offer for red season as well for locals (and we consider locals now!!!)
