On November 5 on the north-west coast of Mauritius will be opened the five-star Trou aux Biches hotel. Although all the rooms of the hotel are just rebuilt, Trou aux Biches hotel is not new, but rather renewed. Trou aux Biches Mauritius belongs to the Beachcomber Hotels hotel chain and was built in 1979. For 30 years it was considered as an ideal romantic place for couples and honeymoon. Hundreds of couples link their happiness together with the Hotel Trou aux Biches.

Маврикий 2010. Кайт, Серф, Виндсерф в ноябре.

Mauritius Kite Jam, a kite-surfing festival, will be held in Mauritius from November 1 to 10. It is organised by the Russian Kiting Association, Russian Federation of Sailing Sport and is supported by the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA).

Among the 100-150 guests will be Russian businessmen, senior journalists, VIPs and celebrities. Famous DJ Vengerov, one of the residents of the festival, will perform as a Mauritius Kite Jam DJ and special guest of the festival.

Отдел Водных Ресурсов (WRU) Центрального Департамента по Водным Ресурсам Маврикия вводит воедино генеральный план для увеличения производства и распространения воды.

Euro down, pound, dollar up against Mauritian rupee

Port-Louis, Mauritius — Euro depreciated against the Mauritian rupee, while the British pound and the US dollar appreciated against the local currency, according to the latest exchange rates published here Tuesday by the Mauritian commercial bank. Euro was exchanged for 39.63 rupees against 39.86 the previous day, the pound for 46.23 rupees against 46.12 and the dollar for 29.26 against 29.21 rupees. Читать далее →
