High status women used make-up already thousand years ago in Japan

Japanese archeologists found a make-up kit in the tomb that belonged to a woman from a high society. Rare find: Masahiro Ikeda, curator at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Archaeology, points Wednesday to a pot from an ancient makeup kit discovered in a tomb in Nishiwaki, Hyogo Prefecture.
